Mrs. Deodora Entwhistle, Philanthropist
OBJECTIVE: Eleven items from Mrs. Deodora Entwhistle’s collection will be sold in an auction to benefit some of our everyday heroes. They must add up to precisely $10,000 to meet a matching grant. Select these items and then order them within the timeline of her life experience. Create a word using the first letter of each item. This word reveals the recipient(s) of the $10,000 grant and also the password that solves this puzzle.
NOTES: To solve this puzzle you must create a time line that orders the items’ acquisition by Mrs. Entwhistle. Items will relate to those that fall immediately before and after on the timeline in one way or another. Click on each item to reveal their description in order to create the timeline and uncover the relationships between them. To make it tricky, there are three items from this list that are not included in the sale, so exclude those items and their price from the total.
HINT: Mrs. Entwhistle is wearing the very first of her acquired items (in this image of her). This item should be the first on your timeline.
