Escape Christmas

Normally Christmas comes and goes, but not in the home of Jebidiah Krinklemeijer, puzzle-maker extreme. Here the holidays can last as long as it takes for his visitors to solve the puzzles he so carefully crafts. Perhaps it’s loneliness, or boredom, or a search for true companionship, but Mr. Krinklemeijer has been known to “trap” his visitors in the game of his making, for at least as long as it takes them to solve the puzzle. Some might call this entrapment or kidnapping, or some other silly thing like that, but Mr. Krinklemeijer finds this to be absurd. He is simply choosing to challenge, befuddle, and otherwise perplex would-be merrymakers with the puzzles of his own making. Nothing more. They are free to go, anytime, once they have successfully cracked the case of course. In your case, the challenge will be as simple as pumpkin pie. All you have to do is light the Christmas star. Once you have done this, you can celebrate a job well done and then go on your merry way. Until then, you will play.
