Sugar Skull Face Painting

dia de los meurtos 2.jpg

One of Mexico’s most cherished holidays is the Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) that honors the dead through colorful revelry and celebration. In recognition of this internationally recognized holiday and its ties to Mexico, your employer has asked that you present your own painted face (or that of another) as the gift to the diplomat of Mexico. That is, using the imagery of the sugar skull or La Calavara Catrina as your guide, decorate a human face so that it would fit in the very festival. Feel free to add glitter, sequins, or adornments for your hair and head as only the most elaborate and evocative example will be selected.

When you have completed your masterpiece, take a picture.
